- On-Site: Book a visit → We come to you, evaluate → You get paid.
🤝Donations Welcome
Don’t want to sell your books but want to give them a new life? We gratefully accept donations:
- In-Store: Drop off your Like New, Very Good, or Good condition books at Bookmart.
- On-Site: Arrange a pickup for estate, library, or bookstore donations.
All donated books must meet our condition standards and will be rehomed responsibly to benefit the community.

📄Terms & Conditions — Used Book Buyback & Donations
- Buybacks: Like New or Very Good condition.
- Donations: Good, Very Good, or Like New condition.
- No missing pages, excessive markings, mold, or water damage.
- Textbooks, magazines, encyclopedias, or outdated editions may not qualify unless requested.
- All books are inspected by Bookmart staff upon arrival or on‑site.
- Buyback pricing is determined solely by Bookmart based on condition, demand, edition, and resale potential.
- Offers are final once accepted by the seller.
- Estate sales, bookstore clear‑outs, and library renovations are welcome.
- For bulk submissions, at least 70% of items must meet quality standards.
- Non‑qualifying items may be returned or donated at Bookmart’s discretion.
- Donations may be dropped in‑store or scheduled on‑site for larger volumes.
- All donated books become the property of Bookmart and may be resold, donated onward, or used in community programs.
- Sellers and donors confirm they are the rightful owners and have authority to sell or donate.
- Bookmart is not responsible for ownership disputes.
- Once purchased or donated, books become the property of Bookmart.
- Buyback payments are made upon acceptance (cash, store credit, or e‑transfer as agreed).
- Bulk purchases may involve scheduled payments agreed in advance.
- Bookmart may refuse any item or collection that does not meet standards or business needs.
- Refused items must be collected within 7 days or may be donated.
- Terms may change without notice; the latest version is available at bookmart.ca.
